Simonyan Among Those Allegedly Targeted For Death
Following the murders of Stephen and Djeswende Reid on April 18, Concord police are asking area residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious behavior or activity, particularly on the Marsh Loop Trail, part of the Broken Ground Trails off Portsmouth Street. They also ask that anyone with a home or business security or video surveillance system review the recordings to determine if the Reids were captured on video.
The Reids’ bodies were discovered on April 21 in a wooded area near the Marsh Loop Trail. An autopsy showed they died of multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say their deaths are unrelated to another homicide case that occurred in October 2021 in the same apartment community where the Reids lived.
Alton Man Cheats, Loses Right To Vote
Todd Krysiak, 39, of Alton lost his right to vote in New Hampshire after casting ballots in both Alton, New Hampshire, and Leominster, Massachusetts, in the election of November 6, 2016.
Krysiak pleaded guilty in Belknap County Superior Court on April 22 to the Class B felony charge of voting in more than one state. He received a suspended 90-day sentence to the Department of Corrections jail and a $4,000 fine with a penalty assessment of $960.
Part I, Article 11 of the New Hampshire Constitution states, “No person shall have the right to vote under the constitution of this state who has been convicted of treason, bribery or any willful violation of the election laws of this state or of the United States.”
Simonyan Among Those Allegedly Targeted For Death
Yesterday, we reported on Russia’s Federal Security Service claim that a group of neo-Nazis “instructed by Kiev” planned to kill Russian TV host and journalist Vladimir Solovyov who, along with RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan, Olga Skobeeva, and Dmitry Kiselev, are considered propagandists for the Kremlin. Simonyan had been an exchange student at Newfound Regional High School in Bristol, New Hampshire, in 1996.
Video footage later released by the FSB allegedly showed there were several other targets, including Simonyan. The FSB said the video showed the detention, search, and questioning of the suspects, one of whom said that the group had been discussing the potential assassinations of the director general of the Sputnik news agency, Dmitry Kiselyov; Simonyan and her husband, film director and TV presenter Tigran Keosayan; and TV hosts Olga Skabeeva and Evgeny Popov.
Commenting on the news, Simonyan said, “All people are mortal, and to die for not being silent, but for having the luxury of speaking the truth and protecting your Motherland in a way you find right and possible, is no scarier than slowly going out from an incurable disease or from inevitably getting old. My attitude towards it is philosophical and Christian.”
Kiev has denied any involvement in the alleged assassination plots, claiming the FSB’s operation was “staged.”
