On April 21st around 4:30pm Officer LeBlanc received information from an off duty officer that Brendon Henss maybe heading towards Alexandria on a motorcycle, which wouldn’t normally be an issue except Mr Henss is a certified Habitual offender. We know this because we’ve arrested Mr Henss before for the same charge. In fact Mr Henss has been arrested on 2/13/23, 2/21/23, and 4/11/23.
Alas Mr Henss decided to try and get away from officer LeBlanc and in doing so increased his speed to over 100mph heading towards Hill. Officer Leblanc decided that the risk to Mr Henss and the general public wasn’t worth it and discontinued the pursuit.
Enter the good old Motorola radio.
Officer LeBlanc had called Franklin PD to let them know he was heading their way.
Sgt Guerriero knew enough just to sit back and see how events worked out. The good Sgt watched as the motorcycle now back to normal speeds cruised past him with normal traffic.
Again Sgt Guerriero sat back in traffic and watched Mr Henns who now thought he was in the clear pull into get a bit of pizza. The good Sgt pulled in behind him and reminded Mr Henns about the events that just occurred in Alexandria. Mr Henns was arrested and reunited with officer LeBlanc where he refused bail and was taken to the Grafton county of Corrections.
Mr Henss will go infront of a judge on Monday to decide bail.
Thanks very much to Bristol and Franklin PDs for their assistance in this matter.
We remind everyone that although this seems very straightforward. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.
